HOLY GHOST REVIVAL R. Oye. Taiwo For more than thirty years, I have been reading, researching, talking and praying about revival. Today, I can go on for hours talking about the great revivals that the Lord has seen fit to bless our world with. Oh, I am not talking about the great evangelistic meetings and crusades we have every time. I am not talking about the “Power” night prayer meetings in the Stadiums. I am not even talking about our so-called revival meetings that we spend weeks or even months planning carefully, to which we invite great ministers and use band and expensive musical instrument to boost up. I am talking about Holy Ghost revival, the mighty unusual visitations of God, which are accompanied by tremendous demonstrations of the power of God, the mighty manifestations of the Holy Ghost and the extraordinary revelation of the glory of the Son of God – Jesus Christ, the King of Glory. I am talking about the great manifestations of the presence and power of God that cause the Church to experience unusual advancement. I am talking about Holy Ghost Revival – not man-made revival …. Holy Ghost revival such as Wales Revival, Zuendel Revival, Azusa Street revival, Indonesian Revival and so on…. Just what is revival? |
