OUR MAJOR ANNUAL PROGRAMMES UCEM Campmeeting. This seven-day, day-and-night event normally begins on the last Monday of August and ends at 1 pm on the following Sunday. It is the most attended, the most loved of our programmes. People come from various places, and normally stay in the camp through the seven day period, to enjoy mountain-moving prayers, accurate teachings from the Word of God, life-changing messages, Holy Ghost manifestations, sweet fellowships, interesting Christian drama and songs. UCEM Campmeeting is held in Okeigbo town, Unity Conference. The programme begins on the Thursday preceding the Good Friday and ends at 1 pm on Easter Day. The programme is held in different towns every year. Forty days prayer and fasting. The children of God in UCEM fast for forty days, gathering together in UCEM churches every day to seek God in prayer for at least four hours. The prayer and fasting programme ends on Good Friday at twelve pm. God’s Power Campmeeting. This is another ‘big’ programme held in December – normally the second week – every year. Like other annual programmes of UCEM, the campmeeting is characterized by bible teachings, Holy Ghost manifestations, prayer and intercession and testimonies of healing and of other miracles received from God. |
